Penne With Garlic and Tomatoes

The perfect one-pot dish has lots of flavors, cheesy goodness and some wine thrown in for good measure.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound penne pasta, cooked
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 15 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cup white wine (dry)
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons Parmesan
  • 20 basil leaves, chopped
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Let's get Cooking...

  1. In a large sauce pan, add olive oil and place on medium-low heat. Add garlic and sauté for 5 minutes.
  2. Add tomatoes, salt, and chili flakes, cook for another 5 minutes. Add the white wine and heavy cream. Simmer for 10 minutes.
