4 Easy Spiced Almonds

Why eat basic almonds when you can spice them up with coconut curry, honey chipotle, Buffalo sauce and Mexican hot chocolate?

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 1 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp chipotle powder
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • 1 Tbsp granulated sugar

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF, and prepare baking sheets with a silicone baking mat or sprayed parchment paper.
  2. Toss almonds with butter and honey, and roast for 15 minutes until toasted.
  3. Meanwhile, prepare coating. Stir together chipotle powder, sea salt and sugar.
  4. Toss toasted almonds to coat and allow to cool in the mixture, tossing periodically to ensure even coating.
  5. Nuts will keep in airtight container for about a week.
