Almost Instant Soupless Noodles

Think outside of the bag with garlicky, flavorful pork ramen.



  • 100g ground pork
  • 30g chili oil
  • 30g chopped scallions
  • pepper
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 package instant ramen
  • (sauce)
  • 1/2 pack instant ramen soup
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp minced garlic
  • (toppings)
  • 15g chives, chopped
  • 15g scallions, chopped
  • 5g nori, thinly sliced
  • 5g powdered bonito flakes
  • 1 egg yolk

Let's get Cooking...

  1. In a frying pan, stir-fry the pork, chili oil, chopped scallions and pepper.
  2. Boil a pot of water and add in baking soda. Cook ramen noodles for approximately 4 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, combine half packet instant noodle soup, sesame oil and garlic and mix to combine.
  4. Drain noodles well and transfer to a serving bowl. Add toppings and serve.
