Ambrosia recipe



  • 7 whole eggs + 5 yolks
  • 1.9 pounds granulated sugar
  • 4 1/3 cups whole milk
  • Juice and zests from 1/2 lime
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 cloves

Let's get Cooking...

  1. In a deep pan, add the whole eggs and yolks. Mix well.
  2. Stirring constantly, add the sugar slowly.
  3. Add the milk, the juice, the zest, the cinnamon and the cloves.
  4. Cook over low heat.
  5. Initially, poke the edges of the bottom of the pan to prevent sticking.
  6. When nodes start forming, shake the pan gently from time to time.
  7. Cook until the color is thoroughly golden.
