Avocado Banana Cake

Things aren't quite as they appear when it comes to making this chocolate avocado banana cake.

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 eggs
  • 60 grams granulated sugar
  • 60 milliliters vegetable oil
  • 130 grams flour, sifted
  • 20 grams unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Whipped cream
  • 1 grapefruit
  • 1/2 apple
  • 1 kiwi

Let's get Cooking...

  1. In a bowl, combine avocado and banana and mash with a fork.
  2. Add in eggs, vegetable oil and granulated sugar and mix until combined.
  3. Add in sifted flour, cocoa and baking powder and gently fold in until batter is smooth.
  4. Pour into a 15 centimeters cake pan and bake for 30 minutes at 170 degrees C.
  5. Decorate with fresh fruits and whipped cream.
