Baby Chicks Rolled Sushi

This adorable sushi shaped like a baby chick is the perfect snack for Easter — or whenever!

Ingredients

  • 2 seasoned egg yolks
  • 4 kamaboko (fish cake)
  • 200g cooked rice
  • 2 sheets nori
  • (decoration)
  • carrot bits
  • nori pieces

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Cut the surface of two fish cakes in a zig zag design. Cut the other two fish cakes so that it's smaller.
  2. Place nori on top of the fish cake with the zig zag surface and press it in so that it adheres to the nori sheet.
  3. Combine egg yolks to the cooked rice and mix well.
  4. Place nori on a bamboo mat. Put fish cake on the nori, followed by rice. Finally put the other fish cake on top.
  5. Tightly roll it up and let it rest to settle.
  6. Slice the sushi and decorate with carrots and nori for the face.
