BBQ Chicken Buns

Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 rice buns
  • Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon wasabi powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon miced ginger
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 4 tablespoons mirin
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha
  • 4 Chicken thighs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 red chili
  • Spring onions
  • 2 lime
  • Coriander

Let's get Cooking...

  1. In a pot, heat up some olive oil with the spices. add in your minced ginger. cook for 3 minutes. Add in all the other sause ingredients and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  2. Sear the chicken in some olive oil with some salt and pepper.
  3. Toss the chicken in the sauce with on chopped red chili (seeds taken out)and the lime juice.
  4. Steam your buns.
  5. Fill the bun with the chicken, some sauce and dress in herbs.
