Beef & Cabbage Tofu Pouches
How to make Beef & Cabbage Tofu Pouches.
1 deep-fried tofu (aburaage)
100 grams ground beef
50 grams onion
50 grams cabbage
2 tablespoons panko bread crumbs
1/3 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons tonkatsu sauce
5 grams butter
Let's get Cooking...
Finely chop the cabbage and onion.
In a bowl, combine ground beef, chopped cabbage and onion, panko, 1/2 egg, salt and soy sauce and mix well with your hand.
Cut off one end of the deep-fried tofu and carefully open it up to creating a pouch.
Fill the pouch with the ground beef mixture and close it securely with a bamboo skewer.
Cook the tofu pouch on both sides until heated through and golden brown.
Slice into bite-sized pieces.
In a frying pan, combine ketchup, tonkatsu sauce and butter and heat until slightly thickened. Serve the Tofu Pouches with the sauce.
