Drunken Chicken Thighs


A blonde beer sauce makes this a perfect meal to pair with ... a beer.



  • 5 chicken thighs (skinless)
  • 12 ounces beer
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 Cup flour to coat
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Let's get Cooking...

  1. In a frying pan add the olive oil and the red onion.
  2. Sauté the onion for 4 minutes at medium to medium-high heat up until golden brown.
  3. Add the chicken in a single layer without crowding and brown it for 4 minutes per side.
  4. Adjust with salt.
  5. Add the beer (to cover the chicken) and simmer at low heat for 20 min or up until the beer will be absorbed forming a creamy sauce.
  6. Turn the chicken few times so that it will cook evenly on both sides. Enjoy!
