Cabbage Okonomiyaki Pizza

Upgrade basic cabbage by baking it with kimchi, bacon and lots of bubbly cheese.



  • 1 head cabbage
  • 3 slices bacon
  • 10 grams sakura shrimp (cherry shrimp)
  • 50 grams kimchi
  • 80 grams mixed frozen vegetables (corn, carrots and peas)
  • 150 grams shredded cheese
  • Mayonnaise
  • Okonomiyaki sauce
  • Aonori (dried green seaweed)
  • Bonito flakes
  • Batter:
  • 100 grams flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon instant dashi
  • 100 milliliters water

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Wash cabbage well and cut into 2 centimeters thick slices. Cut bacon slices and kimchi into 1 centimeter pieces.
  2. Combine flour, eggs, instant dashi and water in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Place cabbage slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Pour batter over the cabbage slices.
  4. Top with shrimp, frozen vegetables, kimchi, bacon and shredded cheese.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 170 degrees C.
  6. Serve with okonomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise, aonori and bonito flakes.
