Cabbage Okonomiyaki Pizza

Upgrade basic cabbage by baking it with kimchi, bacon and lots of bubbly cheese.



  • 1 head cabbage
  • 3 slices bacon
  • 10g sakura shrimp (cherry shrimp)
  • 50g kimchi
  • 80g mixed frozen vegetables (corn, carrots and peas)
  • 150g shredded cheese
  • mayonnaise
  • okonomiyaki sauce
  • aonori (dried green seaweed)
  • bonito flakes
  • (batter)
  • 100g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp instant dashi
  • 100ml water

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Wash cabbage well and cut into 2cm thick slices. Cut bacon slices and kimchi into 1cm pieces.
  2. Combine flour, eggs, instant dashi and water in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Place cabbage slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Pour batter over the cabbage slices.
  4. Top with shrimp, frozen vegetables, kimchi, bacon and shredded cheese.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 170 degrees C.
  6. Serve with okonomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise, aonori and bonito flakes.
