Caprese Buns

Cheesy bread buns speak for themselves.



  • 400 g flour
  • 1 egg
  • 40g soft butter
  • 1 teaspoon yeast
  • 210 ml of milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 10 g white sesame
  • 200 g of crushed tomatoes
  • 150g grated mozzarella
  • 1 bunch basil
  • 20 g of pine nuts

Let's get Cooking...

  1. In a food processor, combine flour, milk, egg, yeast, and salt. Let the dough rest 30 minutes. Then divide it into 8 slices and flatten into a circle.
  2. Combine in a bowl the tomatoes, grated mozzarella, basil and pine nuts. Sprinkle the dough and close it. Brush with milk and top with sesame. Bake 20 minutes at 350ºF/180°C.
