Caramel Chocolate Panna Cotta

Just when you thought normal panna cotta couldn't taste better, we came up with this.



  • Caramel:
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 tablespoons water, divided
  • Panna cotta:
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream, warm
  • 3/4 cup milk, warm
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa
  • 3/4 tablespoon gelatin (put into ice water)
  • Garnish:
  • Whipped cream
  • Chocolate sauce
  • Freeze-dried raspberries
  • Sprinkles
  • Mint leaf

Let's get Cooking...

  1. To make the caramel, add sugar and 1 tablespoon water in a saucepan and heat over medium heat. Once the color turns amber, turn off heat and carefully add in remaining water. Mix well.
  2. Add in milk, cream, cocoa, sugar and gelatin and bring to a boil.
  3. Pour mixture into a rectangular mold and refrigerate until firm.
  4. Remove from mold, and cut into individual servings. Decorate with garnish before serving.
