Caramelized Banana Cake recipe
½ cup oil
⅔ cup of whole milk
½ cup sugar
2 cups flour
1 tbsp baking powder
4 cups sugar
6 dwarf cavendish bananas, cut lengthwise
3 tbsps heavy cream
1 tbsp of sugar
Let's get Cooking...
In the blender, beat eggs, oil and milk. Add the sugar and beat a little more. Slowly mix the flour and add finally add the baking powder.
Place the sugar in a pan cook until it becomes a golden caramel. Spread the caramel over a loaf bread pan.
Arrange the bananas in the bottom of the pan. Pour the dough.
Preheat oven to 356 degrees and bake for 40 minutes.
Unmold when the cake is still warm.
Beat the heavy cream with the sugar to create whipped cream.
Serve the cake with a spoonful of whipped cream.
