Cauliflower Steak


Served with balsamic vinegar and Parmesan cheese, this will make you see cauliflower in a whole new light.



  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • Olive oil (about 1/4 cup)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Parmesan cheese, to taste
  • Balsamic vinegar, to taste

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Cut the cauliflower in half and cut it in half again. Sear the center part of the cauliflower on the stovetop (2-3 min. each side) with some salt and pepper. Then put them on a baking sheet and roast at 400F for about 15 minutes. Keep the two ends of the cauliflower for another day.
  2. Add some grated/microplaned parmesan cheese and a bit of balsamic vinegar, and put it in the oven for another 5 minutes.
