Ingredients

  • Chai Layer:
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 3 tbsp powdered gelatin
  • 1 cup milk
  • 5 chai tea bags
  • Milk Layer:
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tbsp powdered gelatin
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground cardamom
  • 3 tbsp honey

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Make the chai layer: Sprinkle the gelatin on top of the water and let develop for 5 minutes. In the meantime, pour the milk into a small pot and add the tea bags. Bring the milk to a simmer on medium heat, then remove from the heat and allow the tea bags to steep for 20 minutes. Remove the tea bags and return the pot to the stove. Add the gelatin and whisk until it has fully dissolved. Pour the liquid into a container with an easy pour spout.
  2. Make the milk layer: Pour the milk into a small pot and sprinkle the gelatin on top. Let the gelatin develop for 5 minutes. Place the pot onto the stove and set to medium heat. Add the ginger, cinnamon and cardamom and whisk until fully incorporated. Add the honey and whisk until combined. Pour the liquid into a container with an easy pour spout.
  3. Assembly: Pour the chai mixture 1/3 of the way into a silicone mold of your choice. Place the mold in the fridge for freezer until it is firm to the touch. Pour the milk layer on top until it reaches 2/3 of the way up the mold. Return it to the fridge or freezer until it is firm to the touch. Fill the molds the rest of the way with the chai mixture and chill again until firm. Gently unmold the gummies and enjoy!
