Cheese And Spinach Stuffed Pasta Shells recipe



  • 12 large pasta shells (conchiglie)
  • 1 minced onion
  • 2 bunches spinach
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 1 fresh ricotta, shredded
  • 1/2 cup of requeijão (Brazilian creamy cheese)
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1.8 ounces fresh grated Parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Cook the shells. Reserve.
  2. In a saucepan, sauté the onion and the chopped spinach. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the ricotta and the requeijão. Reserve.
  4. Pour the tomato sauce in a baking dish.
  5. Fill the shells with the sautéed spinach.
  6. Place the shells over the sauce. Cover them with grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Preheat oven to 356 degrees. Bake for 15 minutes.
