Cheese Meat Pie


How to make a meat and cheese pie.



  • 1/2 pound ground meat
  • 1/2 onion, minced
  • 1 tbsp panko bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch powdered broth
  • 2 sheets puff pastry
  • 4 tbsp red wine
  • 4 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 4 tbsp ketchup
  • 4 tsp mustard
  • 2 slices of cheese
  • 1 oz. mozzarella cheese
  • salt and pepper

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Combine ground meat, onions, panko, 1/2 the egg, powdered broth, salt and pepper. Mix well and make 2 patties. Cook the burgers until done.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut in two. Place the burgers, mozzarella and cheese slices onto the pastries.
  3. Cover with the other sheet of puff pastry. Trim off the excess.
  4. Brush the remaining egg mixture on top of the pastries and bake at 425 degrees F for 15 minutes or until golden brown on top.
