Cheese Soufflé recipe



  • 1.4 ounces unsalted butter
  • 1.4 ounces flour
  • 1 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 4 eggs
  • Nutmeg
  • Salt
  • 7 ounces minas cheese (substitute with white cheese)

Let's get Cooking...

  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter and add the flour, stirring constantly.
  2. Add the milk and stir to obtain consistency. Turn off the heat.
  3. Season with nutmeg and salt. Let it cool.
  4. Incorporate the egg yolks and add the cheese.
  5. Beat the egg whites and gently incorporate into the mix.
  6. Arrange the mixture into a greased and floured pan.
  7. Preheat oven to 482 degrees. Bake for 15 minutes or until browned and risen.
