Cherry Mango IPA BBQ Sauce

This sweet and smoky sauce is good on fish, chicken, shrimp, pork ... whatever you like.

Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2T olive oil
  • 4 T tomato paste
  • 1/4 c minced onion
  • 3 cloves garlic crushed
  • 3 T apple cider vinegar
  • 2T water
  • 1 t cayenne
  • 2 t dry mustard
  • ½ c kiln dried cherries
  • 2 c ketchup
  • 1 c mango puree
  • 1 bottle of IPA
  • Fresh ground pepper to taste

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Sauté onions and garlic, add paste and caramelize.
  2. Then the rest of the ingredients to the pot, let simmer for 3 mins.
  3. Drink a beer to celebrate your success.
