Chicken Pie recipe



  • 9 ounces flour
  • 9 ounces cold unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 2/3 tablespoons of water
  • 1 onion, cut into small cubes
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 chicken breast cooked and shredded
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 1/2 bunch chopped parsley
  • 7 ounces cream cheese
  • Olive oil

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Place the flour in a bowl and add the butter cut into small cubes. Knead with your fingertips until it forms a crumbly paste.
  2. Add salt.
  3. Gradually add water until obtaining the desired consistency.
  4. In a saucepan, brown the onion and garlic in olive oil.
  5. Add the chicken, tomato paste, salt, nutmeg and water if necessary. Cook a little and reserve until cold.
  6. Divide the dough into two. Open both parts with the aid of a rolling pin.
  7. Place the dough in a pan, place the filling and the cream cheese.
  8. Cover with the second piece of dough and bake for 1 hour in an oven preheated to 350 degrees.
