Chicken Pie recipe
9 ounces flour
9 ounces cold unsalted butter
1 teaspoon salt
3 2/3 tablespoons of water
1 onion, cut into small cubes
1 clove garlic, minced
1 chicken breast cooked and shredded
3 tablespoons tomato paste
Pinch of salt
1 pinch of nutmeg
1/2 bunch chopped parsley
7 ounces cream cheese
Let's get Cooking...
Place the flour in a bowl and add the butter cut into small cubes. Knead with your fingertips until it forms a crumbly paste.
Gradually add water until obtaining the desired consistency.
In a saucepan, brown the onion and garlic in olive oil.
Add the chicken, tomato paste, salt, nutmeg and water if necessary. Cook a little and reserve until cold.
Divide the dough into two. Open both parts with the aid of a rolling pin.
Place the dough in a pan, place the filling and the cream cheese.
Cover with the second piece of dough and bake for 1 hour in an oven preheated to 350 degrees.
