Salmon and Prosciutto Sushi

All food should be this colorful — and delicious.



  • 1 sheet nori
  • 180 grams sushi rice
  • 6 slices prosciutto
  • 2 slices cucumber
  • 3 slices smoked salmon
  • 3 sheets thin egg omelette
  • 2 thin cucumber sticks
  • Rose filling:
  • 1 sheet thin egg omelette
  • Salmon flakes
  • Smoked salmon pieces
  • Denbu (sweet fish flakes)

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Cut into strips the cucumber, thin egg omelette, prosciutto and smoked salmon to the same width. Place 2 slices of prosciutto on top of each other to make 3 sheets.
  2. To make the rose, randomly place salmon flakes, smoked salmond pieces and denbu fish flakes on top of the sheet of egg omelette and roll up tightly.
  3. Place plastic wrap onto your work surface. Arrange the strips of cucumber, omelette, prosciutto and smoked salmon diagonally.
  4. Place the sheet of nori on top. Then spread the sushi rice on, making sure to level off the surface.
  5. Place the rolled up rose filling on top of the rice along with the cucumber sticks and roll up tightly.
  6. Let it rest for 10 minutes before cutting into serving size pieces.
