Corn Cake With Guava Jelly recipe



  • 1 cup of corn with water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 7 ounces diced goiabada (guava paste)
  • 1 tablespoon icing sugar

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Beat corn, oil, eggs and sugar in a blender.
  2. In another bowl mix the cornmeal and flour. Add the liquid mixture.
  3. Finally, add the yeast and gently incorporate.
  4. Pour the batter into greased and floured pans.
  5. Place the diced guava paste within each pan. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
  6. Unmold and sprinkle powdered sugar.
