Crinkle Fries 4 Ways

Skip your normal potato fries and make fresh, crispy ones with carrots, parsnips, butternut squash and even apples!

Ingredients

  • 4 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and cut with a wavy cutter into fries
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch sea salt
  • Caramel sauce, to serve

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet with a sheet of parchment paper and a metal baking rack.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the cut apples with melted butter. Evenly space fries on the rack and bake for 30 minutes, flipping fries halfway through. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Serve warm with caramel sauce.
