Crispy Eggs


You'll never look at a soft boiled egg the same way again.



  • 1 egg
  • Frying oil
  • Salt
  • For breading:
  • Flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Parsley

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Cook the egg in boiling water for 4 to 5 minutes, remove with a skimmer and plunge into cold water to stop the cooking.
  2. Remove from cold water, dry with a paper towel and remove the egg shell.
  3. Coat the egg with flour and then with the beaten egg. Dip the egg in breadcrumbs mixed with chopped parsley.
  4. Fry in hot oil until golden.
  5. Drain on paper towels, and sprinkle with a little bit of salt.
