Spoon a small dollop of jam onto the center of a wonton wrapper. Place a small cube of cream cheese on top. Wet all 4 edges of the wonton wrapper and wrap the wrapper around the filling to look like a parcel, squeezing to seal them closed.
Fill a pot with canola oil and set to medium heat. Once the oil is hot enough, you should be able to drop a small piece of wonton wrapper into the pot and have it sizzle and brown after about 1 minute. Place 3-4 wontons in the pot at a time, cooking until golden brown. Remove the wontons from the oil and place on a plate lined with paper towel to drain the excess oil.
Serve with some melted chocolate as dipping sauce and enjoy!
