Silikomart Flower Cheese Pull Bread

  • 3⁄4 cup milk, heated
  • 1 tsp. active dry yeast
  • 1 TBSP honey
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1⁄2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 3 TBSP. unsalted butter, melted
  • 5 string cheese, cut into 5 small pieces
  • topping:
  • 2 TBSP melted butter
  • 1 garlic clove, grated
  • 2 TBSP parsley
  • parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 TBSP cream

Let's get Cooking...

  1. In a large bowl mix the warm milk, yeast, and honey.
  2. let sit until foamy, 10 minutes.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour and salt.
  4. stir flour into yeast mixture.
  5. Continuing stirring until a dough forms.
  6. Transfer dough to a lightly floured work surface and knead until smooth, 5-6 minutes
  7. put the dough into a lightly greased bowl and cover with plastic wrap; let sit until nearly doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  8. Portion dough into 24 small balls and fill each with a piece of cheese.
  9. grease the flower shaped baking pan and place a ramekin in the center.
  10. nestle the dough balls side by side forming two rows.; cover loosely with plastic wrap and let sit until doubled in size, about 2 hours.
  11. pre heat oven to 350 and bake for about 25 minutes.
  12. melt butter and garlic over low heat, stir in parsley
  13. in a separate sauce pan heat marinara and add cream
  14. when bread is done brush with garlic parsley butter and fill ramekin with sauce.
