Eggy Bread Sundae

You've eaten ice cream sundaes in a bowl, but have you tried one in a box made of bread?



  • 1 loaf Japanese bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 120 grams milk
  • 30 grams sugar
  • Whipped cream
  • 300 grams strawberry-flavored chocolate, melted
  • 50 grams white chocolate, melted
  • 30 grams corn flakes
  • Cherries
  • Blueberries
  • Raspberries
  • 2 scoops strawberry ice cream
  • 3 chocolate sticks
  • Berry syrup

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Carefully cut out the insides of the bread leaving the bottom intact, creating a bread box. Cut the inside of the bread into cubes.
  2. Coat the outside of the bread box with melted strawberry chocolate. Set it aside to harden.
  3. Transfer white chocolate into a piping bag and pipe onto the surface of the bread box.
  4. Combine eggs, milk and sugar and mix well. Soak bread cubes in the egg mixture.
  5. Melt some butter onto a frying pan and cook the soaked bread cubes until nice and golden brown.
  6. Put corn flakes at the bottom of the bread box. Add some berries and the cooked bread cubes on top.
  7. Decorate with whipped cream, cherries, blueberries and raspberries.
  8. Top with two scoops of strawberry ice cream. Add more whipped cream and cherries.
  9. Garnish with chocolate sticks and mint leaf. Pour berry sauce on top and enjoy.
