Fish Cakes


Flavorful Halibut fish cakes - a dinner idea for the entire family.



  • 1 pound Halibut fish fillet
  • 2 Cups sweet peas
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 sprig parsley
  • 2 slices toast bread
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 Cups breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 onion
  • 6 ounces crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 5 tablespoons Extra Virgin Oil of Olive

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Cut the Halibut in long fillets and thinly slice the onion.
  2. In a medium size frying pan add 2 tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and turn the heat on at medium.
  3. After one minute when the oil is warm add the onion and stir. Let it cook 3 minutes and than add the sweet peas.
  4. Adjust with a pinch of salt and cover with a lid. Let it simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. In a food processor add the Halibut fish fillets, the garlic, the parsley, the bread, the egg white, a pinch of salt and mix everything for 3 minutes. You want to obtain a smooth consistency.
  6. Place the breadcrumbs in a plate and grease your hands with 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil. Place 1 tablespoon of Halibut mix in your palm and roll it with your hands forming a fish cake.
