Fluffy Heart Shaped Chocolate Cakes


Fluffy Heart-shaped Chocolate Cakes - a great dessert for your loved ones.



  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for meringue)
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 3 tablespoons hot water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 1/3 tablespoon heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • 7 ounces chocolate for melting
  • Sprinkles and edible decorations

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites in two different bowls.
  3. Start making the meringue by beating the egg whites with an electric mixer. Add the sugar in two stages, beating in between. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks.
  4. Combine 2 tablespoons sugar, vegetable oil and hot water with the egg yolks and beat until ingredients are mixed well. Sift in the flour and mix until well incorporated.
  5. Add one big spoonful of meringue into the egg yolk mixture and blend well.
  6. Fold in half the meringue until just blended.
  7. Fold in the rest of the meringue and gently mix until ingredients are well incorporated.
  8. Line baking pan with parchment paper. Bake for 12 minutes at 350 degrees F.
  9. After the cake has cooled, cut out heart shapes.
  10. Combine the cream with the sugar and whip until soft peaks.
  11. Spread some whipped cream between two cakes.
  12. Melt the chocolate until smooth and pour over the cakes. Decorate with sprinkles or your favorite edible decorations.
