French Toast Balls

The perfect breakfast if you have guests over! These little balls taste exactly like French toast but are so much easier to make!

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf sourdough bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch nutmeg
  • Maple syrup, for topping
  • Bananas, for topping

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.
  2. Place the bread cubes in a large bowl and pour the milk mixture on top. Mix until the bread is fully coated, then spoon into a greased muffin tin.
  3. Bake at 350F for 25-30 minutes, until the tops are golden. Cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then serve with maple syrup and bananas.
