Fries: Thin, Fat & Crinkle Cut

From thin to fat to crinkle, no matter its shape, we've never met a fry we didn't like.

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs potatoes
  • Oil for deep-frying
  • Salt

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Wash and peel potatoes, then divide them into 3 equal amounts. Cut 1 pound into thin sticks, 1 pound into wedges and 1 pound into crinkle-cut fries.
  2. In a high-sided pot, add oil and heat to 260 degrees. Cook each kind of fry separately for about 5 minutes to soften.
  3. Increase oil temperature to 350 degrees and re-fry each kind of fries until crisp and golden.
  4. Transfer fries to paper towels to drain excess oil. Season with salt and serve with dipping sauces.
