Frosted Lime Cake


How to make a fruity and refreshing cake with lime frosting.



  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 limes
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
  • Lime juice (squeezed)

Let's get Cooking...

  1. In a blender, place the lime juice, eggs, oil, and lemon zest. Pulse.
  2. In a bowl, place flour, sugar, and transfer the contents from the blender. Mix.
  3. Add baking powder and mix again.
  4. Grease and flour a loaf cake pan and transfer the mixture to it.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
  6. For the frosting, squeeze some lime juice over the confectioners sugar and mix. Layer it over the cake and let it dry.
