1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons canola oil
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
For the Royal Icing:
1 1/2 tablespoon meringue powder
2 cups powdered sugar
2-3 tablespoons water
Brown food coloring
Chocolate candy melts

Whisk together flour, sugar, and cocoa powder. Stir in remaining ingredients, and pour into microwave-safe mug. Microwave at high power for about 2 minutes, keeping a close eye on the cake. Let cool completely before decorating.
Beat Royal Icing ingredients for 7-10 minutes. Reserve 1/4 cup white icing, and color the remaining icing brown.
Top mug cake with brown royal icing. Let set for 2 minutes, then add decorations with white icing. Let set for 5 minutes, then with melted chocolate decorations.
