Chocolate Sprinkle Meringues


Light, fluffy, and with a sprinkling of chocolate, these meringues are the perfect sweet snack.



  • 4 egg whites
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 cups + 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 1/2 ounces dark chocolate

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Preheat oven to 500 degrees.
  2. Beat egg whites with salt until forming soft peaks.
  3. Add sugar gradually, always beating.
  4. Finally, add the starch, vinegar and vanilla extract, mixing gently.
  5. Arrange the meringue into a pastry sleeve with flower nozzle.
  6. Line a pan with parchment paper and arrange the meringues slightly spaced.
  7. Grate the chocolate on top and bake until golden brown.
