Neapolitan mousse — a creamy dessert with 3 layers of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry.

Ingredients

  • Chocolate: 5.2 ounces dark chocolate
  • 14 tablespoons cream (25 percent fat content)
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 5 1/2 teaspoons powdered unflavored gelatin
  • 3 tablespoons tepid water
  • Vanilla: 5.2 ounces white chocolate
  • 14 tablespoons cream (25 percent fat content)
  • 1 3/4 cups sweetened condensed milk
  • 5 1/2 teaspoons powdered unflavored gelatin
  • 3 tablespoons tepid water
  • Strawberry: 3.5 ounces strawberry
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 14 tablespoons cream (25 percent fat content)
  • 5 1/2 teaspoons powdered unflavored gelatin
  • 3 tablespoons tepid water

Let's get Cooking...

  1. In a bowl pour the tepid water and then the powdered gelatin.
  2. In another bowl, place the chocolate in bain marie until melted.
  3. In a blender, add the cream, the sweetened condensed milk, the dark chocolate and pulse.
  4. Transfer the contents from the blender to a bowl, add the hydrated gelatin and mix with a whisk.
  5. Place the result in small containers and store them in the refrigerator.
  6. Repeat the same steps , but now with the white chocolate.
  7. Place the result on top of the dark chocolate layer and store them in the refrigerator.
  8. Repeat the same steps , but now with the strawberries.
  9. Place the result on top of the white chocolate layer and store them in the refrigerator until firm.
