Okonomiyaki Hot Dog
How to make Okonomiyaki Hot dog.
6 tablespoons okonomiyaki flour
1/2 an egg
4 tablespoons water
2/3 ounces cabbage
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
2 hot dog sausages
1 tablespoon sake
Dried seaweed (aonori)
Pickled ginger (beni shoga)
Let's get Cooking...
Cut cabbage very thinly and combine with okonomiyaki flour, half an egg and water. Mix well and set aside.
Pour vegetable oil onto a frying pan and cook the batter in two batches.
Set aside until cool enough to touch.
Place the hot dogs onto the center of the batter and roll it up. Repeat with the other one.
Pour 1 tablespoon of sake into the frying pan. Cover and cook for 3 minutes on medium heat.
Serve with okonomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise, dried seaweed and pickled ginger.
