Panda Jelly

Perk up with this adorable panda bear jelly made with coffee and vanilla jello topped with whipped cream and chocolates.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon gelatin
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 cup coffee, warm
  • 1 cup milk, warm
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Splash of vanilla extract
  • 10 ice cubes
  • Whipped cream
  • 1 cherry
  • For the face:
  • 2 chocolate balls
  • Milk chocolate
  • White chocolate
  • 2 silver dragees
  • 1 coffee bean

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Make the eyes. Melt the milk chocolate and white chocolate and allow to harden on parchment paper.
  2. Add the water to the gelatin and mix thoroughly.
  3. Add sugar and vanilla to the warm milk. Add half the gelatin and stir to combine. Add the other half of the gelatin to the coffee and stir to combine. When completely mixed, add half the ice to each mixture and stir. (As it cools, it will become jelly-like. If it is too watery, add more ice.)
  4. In a clear glass, spoon some milk jelly, coffee jelly, and top with whipped cream. Add chocolate eyes, chocolate balls for ears and a coffee bean for the mouth. Add a cherry on top.
