Pork Stuffed Onions


How to make Pork Stuffed Onions.



  • 1 onion
  • 300 g ground pork
  • 80 g chopped onion
  • 10 g parmesan cheese
  • 10 g panko bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • 40 g shredded cheese
  • 40 g cream cheese
  • 10 thinly-sliced pork belly
  • (sauce)
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 3 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • (combine sauce ingredients and set aside)

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Cut onion in half and peel off 2 outer layers from both the right and left pieces.
  2. Finely chop the leftover onion.
  3. In a bowl, combine ground pork, chopped onion, parmesan cheese, egg, salt, pepper, allspice and panko and mix very well.
  4. Take the mixture and stuff inside the outer onion layers. Add shredded cheese and cream cheese inside and place both sides together creating a ball. Repeat to make two stuffed onions.
  5. Wrap sliced pork around the stuffed onions.
  6. Cook in frying pan until the pork is nicely browned. Add a little water to the pan. Cover and steam for about 5 minutes.
  7. Serve with sauce.
