Ribeye With Bacon And Wine Sauce recipe



  • Ribeye
  • 6 slices of smoked bacon
  • 500 ml of red wine
  • 200 g of sugar
  • Mashed potatoes to accompany
  • Rosemary, salt and pepper

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Cut the ribeye in 200 g strips.
  2. Pass the smoked bacon strips around the meat strips and hold with any kitchen string so it’s tight when cooking.
  3. Marinate with olive, rosemary, salt and pepper. In a pan containing olive oil seal on both sides. Displace them in a baking dish and finish cooking in a strong oven for the desired time.
  4. Mix the wine and the sugar so a thick sauce is obtained.
  5. Serve the rib eye with the wine sauce and mashed potatoes.
