Skillet Crab Croquettes


How to make Skillet Crab Croquettes.



  • 70 grams crab meat
  • 1/2 onion, minced
  • 3 mushrooms
  • 50 grams maitake mushrooms
  • 500 milliliters milk
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 20 grams butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon consomme
  • 60 grams panko bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 can tomato sauce
  • Parsley, chopped

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Saute the bread crumbs with some olive oil until golden brown. Take it out and set aside.
  2. In the same frying pan, melt butter and saute the onions, mushrooms and maitake.
  3. Add flour and saute for a few seconds. Add the milk and cook over low heat until it the sauce thickens.
  4. Add the crab meat, salt and consomme and mix well.
  5. Top with the panko bread crumbs, tomato sauce and chopped parsley.
