Tahini Fudge

Julie Nolke

Maple fudge gets a boost of flavor thanks to this special ingredient.

  • 1 cup tahini
  • 3/4 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/3 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup of toasted sesame seeds

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Heat up the tahini in a microwave safe bowl for 30 seconds intervals stirring in between until just warmed through. Set aside.
  2. Place the maple syrup in a saucepan over medium heat and cook for 5-6 minutes until it has reached 250F. Remove from the heat.
  3. Working quickly, pour in the warm tahini and whisk or use and electric mixer to combine. Add the walnuts and stir.
  4. Pour into a light greased loaf container lined with parchment paper.
  5. Allow to set at room temperature for 4 hours.
  6. Slice into cubs and roll in the sesame seeds.
