Tarik Tea (Pulled Tea)

Try out this classic Malaysian sweet drink and you may just discover your new favorite beverage.



  • 2 tablespoons black tea
  • 80 milliliters of sweetened condensed milk
  • 80 milliliters evaporated milk
  • 650 milliliters of hot water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Let's get Cooking...

  1. Brew tea in filter with warm water until it thickens.
  2. Add sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Prepare two glasses, pour the mixture into two glasses, and start pulling it away from each other. Do this step at least 6 times.
  4. Pour into serving glasses and it is ready to enjoy! Best enjoyed hot.
