Traditional Indonesian Popsicle

When your frozen treat calls for something a little outside the ordinary.

Recipe

Ingredients

  • 250gr cocoa powder
  • 250gr sugar
  • 50gr cornstarch
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 350ml coconut milk
  • 100ml water

Let's get Cooking...

  1. In a pan, mix together cocoa powder, sugar, cornstarch and coconut milk. Stir well, and keep stirring until it gets slightly thickened. Remove from heat when done, and then rest the dough about 1-2 hours.
  2. After is well-rested, spoon the batter into a desired mold. Traditional popsicle normally uses clear and small plastic bags.
  3. Drizzle sauce over the popsicle and serve!
